November is Children’s Grief Month, a time dedicated to honoring and supporting young people coping with the loss of someone they love.
Join Author Cheryl Williams for a heartfelt community event inspired by her touching children’s book, The Brightest Star That Shines Tonight, a story that gently helps children understand grief, love, and the lasting presence of a parent who has passed on.
In the book, a father comforts his children by explaining that although their mother’s body is gone, her heart and love are still with them every day, shining as the brightest star in the night sky.
This event brings that message to life.
Our guest speaker, Paul Rubin, is a support group leader and the Founder/Executive of Camp Good Mourning!
A nonprofit dedicated to helping grieving children heal. He will share practical guidance and uplifting messages for families coping with loss.
